Barossa’s best wines are made from beautiful Mataro and some
lovely Grenache so it is no wonder that John Duval’s first wine was a GSM.

The wine is like a child’s play ground as you get a lot of
fun in many forms. To start with there is a flying fox worth of summer fruits
before a slippery dip of velvety earthy flavours and some Indian spices. It is
all safe to drink now as the child proof fences are up but I would wait until
it turns 10 before letting it out into the world again.
