First Drop 2% Shiraz 2010

The 2% Shiraz is a blend of Shiraz from different districts within the Barossa plus a little Tempranillo thrown in. The Tempranillo adds a little earthy cherry cola note which makes the wine a little more fun than normal. For the money this wine is great value and a brilliant entry to the joys that Matt Gants wines can bring. Just strap yourself in and enjoy the rise!

My god this is easy to drink. It is like making love to a large block of chocolate while eating marshmallows as it combines all things exotic and sexual. This wine could be one of my unfulfilled fantasies. You know the ones you come up with when you are young and care free late at night with your friends. You are sitting around with a few beers in hand saying things like it is my goal to be with a red head. Well this wine could be my ginger ninja for the night so I’m going go out on Friday and grab another bottle.
