Oh boy you have to be drinking this with food as the tannins slowly progress up your tongue, as if they need some assistance. The flavours are beautiful with mulch, slate, violets and pomegranate showing that even in the shadows of the grand 2005 vintage you can find some quality wines for reasonable prices.
